Watch the Apple Announcement 'Live' FULL VIDEO

Today, Steve Jobs will announce the new Apple tablet (iSlate, iPad?) at the Apple press event. Everybody’s trying to find a place to watch the Apple announcement live. But, sadly, there a live feed doesn’t exist.

The next best thing is the live blog. Apple allows journalists to use liveblog applications during the press conference, so that’s the best place to get your Apple news. I linked to the best live blog, Gizmodo on the left. Just follow the HTML link to log in and get live updates as they’re announced. Remember, the Apple press conference starts at 10 AM, Pacific.

So, what can be expected at the Apple announcement press event? Well, clearly, there will be news about the newest Apple produce, the Apple Tablet (iSlate? iPad?) Various sources are expecting that several media deals will be announced – so that the Apple Tablet will have exclusive content – probably a New York Times’ e-book edition, perhaps one from the Wall Street Journal, or even a deal with FOX News. Nobody knows for sure.

The most important Apple announcement will be related to the iPhone, Apple’s communications device. Sadly, the iPhone is tied to AT&T. The big announcement will be a Verizon iPhone. Then, all those rich moms and dads will get their kids an iPhone. (Verizon has some 91.2 million subscribers.)

AT&T has about 81.6 million customers. Back when the iPhone was launched, it was popular to switch mobile carriers just to get an iPhone. But those kinds of sales ended quickly, and many have wondered how much longer Apple is going to wait to cash in on Verizon’s market share.

Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad – Abortion Controversy

Tim Tebow & Mom To Be In Controversial Super Bowl Ad
CBS is currently scheduled to run an ad from Focus On The Family starring Tim Tebow and his mom. The spot will be decidedly anti-abortion and pro-life.
The controversy is over whether CBS should air the Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad or not. Does it have the potential to alienate millions of viewers who do not share Tebow’s views on abortion?
Given various reports on a Super Bowl ad recession, it’s going to be tough for the network to say no.

Tim Tebow Superbowl AD FULL VIDEO

Tim Tebow Superbowl Ad:Save a few execs and the Tebow family, nobody has seen his 30-second Super Bowl commercial that is expected to run during the Feb. 7 telecast. We can guess which controversial message is strongly implied — pro life — but we truly don’t know the contents of thecommercial that features Tim Tebow and mother Pam, in conjunction with Christian-based group Focus on the Family.

But the mere presence of the looming commercial has caused some to take a stand.

A national coalition of women’s groups have urged CBS to scrap the Tebow ad. The pressure will mount, so it will be interesting to see whether CBS backs thecommercial or relents.

Sentinel columnist George Diaz salutes Tebow for sticking to his values, but adds that religious views have no business in the Super Bowl. Tebow said at his Senior Bowl arrival that he understands not everyone will agree with thecommercial, but he stands behind it.

Personally, I don’t expect the Tebows to hit everyone over the head with the pro-life message during the commercial. I think it will be strictly anecdotal — tell the story, mom could have died by giving birth, family kept faith and Tim was born healthy with a promising life ahead. Surely the pro-life stance is suggested, but let’s not assume thecommercial condemns those who don’t believe in pro life. I don’t understand why this commercial forces everyone to choose one extreme or the other.

Don’t forget to vote on how you feel about the cause inside the link for Diaz’s column.

How old is Madonna? Madonna’s Age FULL VIDEO

How old is Madonna was the question asked by people who attended the Hope for Haiti concert last night. Madonna also graced the occasion along with other celebrities and she was still looking hot.

Madonna is 51 year old but still young by all means, apparently and undercover as well, obviously if a 51 year old lady has a 22 year old boyfriend, she must be having some kind of guts available with her at this age.
Madonna was born Madonna Louise Ciccone on August 16, 1958, she is an American recording artist, actress and entrepreneur. Born in Bay City, Michigan, and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan, she moved to New York City in 1977, for a career in modern dance. After performing as a member of the pop musical groups Breakfast Club and Emmy, she released her self-titled debut album Madonna in 1983 on Sire Records.
A series of hit singles from her studio albums Like a Virgin (1984) and True Blue (1986) gained her global recognition. It established her as a pop icon for pushing the boundaries of lyrical content in mainstream popular music and imagery in her music videos, which became a fixture on MTV. Her recognition was augmented by the film Desperately Seeking Susan (1985) which widely became seen as a Madonna vehicle, despite her not playing the lead. Expanding on the use of religious imagery with Like a Prayer (1989), Madonna received positive critical reception for her diverse musical productions, while at the same time receiving criticism from religious conservatives and the Vatican. In 1992, Madonna founded the Maverick corporation, a joint venture between herself and Time Warner. The same year, she expanded the use of sexually explicit material in her work, beginning the release of the studio album Erotica, followed by the publishing of the coffee table book Sex, and starring in the erotic thriller Body of Evidence, all of which received negative responses from conservatives and liberals alike.
In 1996, Madonna played the starring role in the film Evita, for which she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. Madonna's seventh studio album Ray of Light (1998) became one of her most critically acclaimed, recognized for its lyrical depth. During the 2000s, Madonna released four studio albums, all of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Departing from Warner Bros. Records, Madonna signed an unprecedented $120 million dollar contract with Live Nation in 2008.
Madonna has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide. She is ranked by the Recording Industry Association of America as the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and the second top-selling female artist in the U.S., with 64 million certified albums. Guinness World Records listed her as the world's most successful female recording artist of all time. In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked Madonna at number two, behind only The Beatles, on the "Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists", making her as the most successful solo artist in the history of Billboard Hot 100 chart. She was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the same year. Considered to be one of the most influential women in contemporary music, Madonna has been known for continually reinventing both her music and image and for retaining a standard of autonomy within the recording industry. She is recognized as an influence among numerous music artists.

Prince writes Vikings' song 'Purple and Gold' -- listen here FULL SONG

Musical artist Prince has penned a Minnesota Vikings song called "Purple and Gold."

Prince, who is from Minnesota, told FOX Twin Cities affiliate that after he saw the Vikings beat-down of the Dallas Cowboys last week he went home and cranked out "Purple and Gold" because he "saw the future."

The Vikings love the song and have put it on their website. They play the New Orleans Saints Sunday, Jan. 24 in the NFC championship game. The winner will face the winner of the Colts-Jets game in the Super Bowl on Feb. 7.

Frankly, we think it's a little too slow and church-y sounding for a pump-me-up football song, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Purple and Gold Lyrics
the veil of the sky draws open
the roar of the chariots touch down
we r the ones who have now come again
and walk upon water like solid ground
as we approach the throne we won't bow down
this time we won't b denied
raise every voice and let it b known
in the name of the purple and gold
we come in the name of the purple and gold
all of the odds r in r favor
no prediction 2 bold
we r the truth if the truth can b told
long reign the purple and gold
the eyes say ready 4 battle
no need 4 sword in hand
we r all amped up like a rock n roll band
ready 2 celebrate every score
ready 2 fight the elegant war
ready 2 hear the crowd roar
that's what we came 4
and so much more
in the name of the purple and gold

r spirits may b tired
r bodies may b worn
but since this day is r destiny
r history - that's y we must b
4ever strong as the wind that blows the Vikings' horn
in the name of the purple and gold
CHORUS
