29th anniversary of John Lennon’s death celebrated in Hollywood on Dec. 8, 2009

A public candlelight tribute to John Lennon is planned for Dec. 8, 2009 in front of Lennon’s star at the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. John’s star is located in front of the iconic Capitol Recordshttp://trueslant.com/suefrause/files/2009/12/4133310079_9e76ec1267_o.jpg Building at 750 Vine Street in Hollywood.

The annual memorial, from 6-8 PM, features music, guest speakers, an open mic and a Circle of Peace of Beatles fans before and after the ceremony.
John Lennon was gunned down at age 40 by Mark David Chapman at the entrance of The Dakota in New York City, where Lennon and Yoko Ono lived. He would have been 69 on Oct. 9, 2009.

Just Imagine," the stunning and groundbreaking musical tribute to John Lennon starring Tim Piper, the show which has been rated Critic's Choice by the Los Angeles Times, invites Beatles fans to Come Together for charity on December 8, the 29th anniversary of John Lennon's death.

Come Together Concert For A Cause benefiting VH-1 Save The Music Foundation will be hosted by Chris Carter of the KLOS radio show Breakfast With The Beatles.
