ap all american team football

The 2009 AP All-American Team was named today and we’ll go over the big college football names that made the list.
Alabama came out on top in the 2009 AP All-American 1st team with five players elected.  Running back Mark Ingram, guard Michael Johnson, kicker Leigh Tiffin, defensive tackle Terrence Cody, and cornerback Javier Arenas were all 1st team All-American selections for the top-ranked Crimson Tide.
Texas – the team that Alabama will face for the college football national title – had three AP All-American 1st team selections of their own with quarterback Colt McCoy, wide receiver Jordan Shipley, and safety Earl Thomas.
The battle of the team that dominated the AP All-American list this year will take place on January 7th and SBGglobal Sportsbook has the Alabama Crimson Tide as the 5-point favorite on the college football betting odds.  These guys are offering a 30% cash sign-up bonus for new customers and we highly recommend them.
The only other team with more than one 2009 AP All-American was the Florida Gators with 2.  Both tight end Aaron Hernandez and cornerback Joe Haden made the team this year.
