The REV A7X was the great drummer of Huntington Beach rock group Avenged Sevenfold and his stage name was The Rev. He was

just 28-years-old. He was found dead in his home on 28th december,2009 at 1:00pm local time. Reports says that The REV A7X

died due to natural causes.

THe Rev A7X began to model itself more on Guns N’ Roses at its most unhinged to gain some distance from this decade’s

screaming metal scene, for its last two albums, the 2005 breakthrough City of Evil (powered by the single “Bat Country” and

certified platinum in August) and 2007’s self-titled effort (featuring the hit “Dear God”). The usage of hard drugs can be

the reason of THe Rev A7X's demise.

James Owen Sullivan, 28, better known by his stage name, The Rev, or The Reverend Tholomew Plague was the drummer and back-up vocalist for the band Avenged Sevenfold, and lead vocalist in the avant-garde metal band Pinkly Smooth with fellow Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates.
On 28th December 2009 James Owen Sullivan was found dead at his home in Huntington Beach, California Monday at 1PM. Orange County Coroners office was investigating Jimmy Sullivan’s passing, with initial reports suggesting his death was from falling off of his roof while pretending to be Santa Claus, although Christmas had already ended.

As of December 28, 2009 he was found dead on his house in Huntington Beach home at approximately 1 p.m. The Avenged Sevenfold 28 year old band member who was also known as the world’s best drummer died too early in his age.
