Taylor Haugen's Family and Tim Tebow Featured on ESPN GameDay Today

Taylor Haugen was a 15-year-old from Niceville, Florida who died on August 30, 2008 from injuries sustained during a high school football game. Today, on ESPN's GameDay, Taylor's family and Heisman trophy-winning Florida quarterback Tim Tebow will be featured, and spread the message about the work they are doing for the Taylor Haugen Foundation.

The foundation is said to provide support and recognition to faith-based, athletic students and community organizations through various scholarships and funding. Tebow has worked with Brian and Kathy Haugen and the foundation, and wears a wristband with its mantra on it: "Dont' Quit- Never Give Up."

"Tim Tebow is a true ambassador for the Taylor Haugen Foundation,” said Brian, who is also the president of the foundation. “Like Taylor, his life is focused on devotion to faith, family, and community. We were so pleased that he was able to present the inaugural Taylor Haugen Trophy and that he wears the wristband in honor of our extraordinary son and we are thankful that ESPN selected T’s story to share with the nation.”
